Conditions for the establishment of Motorcycle
Assembling Industry by importing CKD*
1.
A domestic value addition of at least 10 percent
in the first year and at least 30 percent by the end of five years
2.
An employment of at least 50 direct employees in
the first year and at least 200 direct employees
in five years
3.
At least 10 percent domestic material content within
five years
4.
An examination in regard to environment and
safety would be done by a committee including relevant stakeholder agencies
such as Department of Environment, Department of Transport Management, and
Department of Industry etc.
* Completely unassembled parts of a vehicle, to be
assembled into a complete vehicle in a customer's plant
